Douglas Carroll is a star stylist and a leader in the beauty industry. Douglas Carroll's clientele reads like a Who's Who of the Triangle including local sports and television personalities, and prominent area business leaders. Douglas Carroll has been perfecting his craft for more than 25 years and has trained with some of the best from around the world. Most notable of his teachers is the famous Anthony Mascolo of London, England – three-time British Hairdresser of the Year and Owner/Director of TIGI and Toni & Guy.
Doug won the coveted TIGI Hairdresser of the Year Award in 1992-93 and has won more than 15 prestigious international awards and competitions.
Doug’s work can be seen splashed on the pages of major trade and consumer magazines. Doug has been an educator of LOGICS and Rusk International, and has served as Artistic Director for TIGI/Toni & Guy for ten years. In 2005 Douglas Carroll was awarded “One of America’s Most Published Salons” by J.L. Global Media Group.
Douglas and the salon continue to be very dedicated to giving back to the community. They continue to participate in cut-a-thons for the children of Chernobyl and created the Healing Hands program for cancer patients and the Healing Hearts program for families of soliders over seas.
