I am a third
generation hair
stylist...
I have 6 years of licensed experience, however, my grandmother was a hairstylist as well and I began working in a salon at the age of 15, assisting at Doug's salon in Winston Salem, NC...which is how i first met Doug David of Douglas Carroll Salon.
Since then, I have gone on to work at many other salons, competed at the Premiere Hair Show in Orlando, FL were I placed 4th in an "updo competition" while I was attending cosmetology school and completed many courses in the hairstyling industry such as Tigi, Goldwell, KMS, Redken, and more.
I love what I do....It is a reward in itself.
I specialize in wedding styles, prom and special occasion hair as well as corrective coloring, coloring, highlighting, dimensional foiling, and haircuts for both men and women of all ages.
I love bringing out the true beauty in my clients.
My first magazine cover May 2010 - I did the color, my colleague William did the cut...

I am PASSIONATE about color and styling hair.

This year I did a photoshoot with Southern Bride and Groom Magazine for their spring fashions, which should be released late December or early January. I did both hair and makeup for this shoot.
Our salon just returned from Baltimore, MD Goldwell/KMS Academy for a 2 days hands on advanced training color and cutting class. I am so excited about the new trends in this industry.
I'm a true southern girl who loves warm sunny days, good home cooking, traveling, the beach, the lake, and spending time with my hubby, family, friends and my furry children (2 cats & 2 dogs - chloe, biddle, man-man, & ramsey).
I love life and try to enjoy every day as much as I can.
See me on Facebook too!
